Is Candy AI safe and legit?
Before handing over an email address or a card, most people want to know who they are dealing with. This page collects the practical facts about Candy AI and Candy Shorts that we could check, and says plainly where our knowledge stops.
Who is behind Candy
Payments to Candy appear on bank statements as "EverAI", from EverAI Limited, a company in Malta. If you see that name after subscribing, it is Candy. The site itself is candy.ai; the Candy Shorts section lives at candy.ai/candy-shorts.
What you can do without paying
You can try Candy Shorts without any payment details. On regular series episode 1 plays without an account and episode 2 opens with a free account. On spicy series the free account opens episodes 1 and 2. That is enough to judge whether the service is for you before any money is involved. Our free episodes page lists where to start.
Billing and cancelling
Premium is a subscription billed for 1, 3 or 12 months; the longer plans are cheaper per month and are billed up front. Plans renew for the same term unless you cancel, and Candy says Premium can be cancelled at any time in settings. Candy shows prices in your local currency and local taxes may be added at checkout. Current prices: tokens and Premium.
Adults only
Candy is an 18+ service. Its Premium plan includes 18+ image and video generation, and part of Candy Shorts sits on a spicy shelf that is blurred for visitors who are not signed in.
What we cannot vouch for
We are an independent guide, not Candy and not a security auditor. We have not reviewed how Candy stores personal data or chats; for that, read Candy's own privacy policy and terms before signing up. Use a password you do not use elsewhere, as you would for any subscription service.
Copycats and fake apps
Candy does not link to an App Store or Google Play app from candy.ai; on phones it suggests adding the site to the home screen instead (see Candy AI app). Downloads that claim to be "the Candy app" and sites that offer free "leaked" Candy Shorts are not run by Candy. Candy Shorts leaked explains the risks.
How we make money
Links to Candy on this site carry a referral code. If you subscribe through one, Candy may pay us a commission; the price you pay is the same. Details in our affiliate disclosure.
