The story in short
Emma has a seemingly flawless life until she discovers her boyfriend and her closest friend together, and everything falls apart in a single night. A clandestine rebound, a pregnancy result and a web of lies then convert her heartbreak into a fight that leaves her untouchable.
At thirty-four episodes, the story has far more room than most series to follow betrayal, secrecy and payback. The taboo tag adds an edge to a revenge arc built on one night's discovery.

Who it is for
Candy tags My bestie betrayed me as taboo, so expect stories that cross a line the characters are not supposed to cross, usually inside a family or a couple. At 34 episodes it is a longer story than the usual five-part series. Budget-wise it needs more than one month of Premium tokens, so it suits viewers who already plan to stay subscribed. Like everything on Candy, it is for adults only.
